Churches will need a ratio of 1:5; 1 adult sponsor per 5 youth for each gender. Adult sponsors must also register and pay for the conference. The number of adult sponsors must correspond to the gender numbers in the group they are bringing. 5 boys and 3 girls would mean at least 1 male and 1 female sponsor. Sponsors are not housed in the same room as youth participants.

Each adult sponsor will also need to have successfully completed a background check. These need to be done through the home church and a signed verification of the successful background check sent to faye@gracepresbytery.org a minimum of two weeks before conference begins. The form to be submitted verifying all this will be sent to the registrar email address in the registration packet once the church completes registration.

Austin College is located in Sherman, TX. It is approximately 65 miles North of Dallas Love Field Airport and 32 miles Southwest of Durant, OK. There is plenty of parking on the Austin College campus for vehicles of all sizes.

PLEASE NOTE: Sponsors will need to drive their youth to and from a fellowship event on Saturday evening.  Maps will be provided. 




Registration opens 6:30 p.m. on the day the conference begins- July 23, 2020. Registration will be in Ida Green building at Austin College. ALL should arrive to registration already have eaten dinner. One sponsor per group should check-in their group. Youth will wait for their group leader in a designated area. Conference will begin with Welcome at 7:30 p.m.  and end with worship on Sunday (approximately at 11:30 a.m.) - both in Ida Green Theater.



Water bottle- THIS IS A MUST! BRING ONE! WRITE NAME ON IT! Keep it with you and FULL!

Swim stuff: suit, towel, shoes
Bedding: pillow, sheets, blanket (staying on AC campus, single beds); sleeping bag is ok as well- whatever conference participants prefer
Bathroom/ bath towels and washcloth
Toiletries (soap, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, meds, etc.)
Sunscreen and bug spray
Bible, notebook/ paper, pen
Clothes: t-shirts, shorts, sweatshirt, pair pants in case
Shoes: close-toed shoes are a must (example: tennis shoes); shoes to wear to pool (example: flip flops/ sandals)
Sweatshirt (buildings can get cold)
Drawstring backpack for water, key, notebook, pen, Bible always good idea
Snacks- always a good thing to have and to share (check food allergies)
